Louis Oosthuizen, Shane Lowry and Davis Love III all aced the 16th hole

As the Masters golf tournament wrapped up on Sunday in Augusta, Georgia, Justin Spieth’s struggles briefly took a back seat to an especially quirky turn of events that saw three other players make history on a hole nicknamed “Redbud.”

According to the Associated Press, earlier in the day golfers Shane Lowry and Davis Love III took their first swings at the 16th hole and sank holes-in-one, the shot that is the stuff of most amateur duffers’ dreams.

It was very special: two aces on the same hole in the final round of golf’s most prestigious event.
